The idea of the Braunstone Chess Club virtual library is designed to give members the opportunity to access chess books and magazines without the expense of having to buy lots of new books. This will enable people to share their books with other members in confidence that they will be returned in the condition that they lent them. At the club we do not have the physical space for a library, so the books will remain in your physical possession until they are lent to someone else.

Toby Hoch has kindly made available the following chess books to the club library. If anybody wants to borrow any of these books from Toby then they are welcome.

Free Books!!! I have been contacted by Brian Foreman and John Robinson that when Alan Edwards died last year, he left a number of books and magazines to Brian. Although Alan was with Wigston for many seasons and his results there were exceptional, he was at his very best in the earlier years when he played for Braunstone and so Brian has kindly donated these books to the Braunstone club members. If you would like any of the items listed below please send me Mike Salisbury an email and I will organise the collection etc. What books are left over will then be offered to the LRCA.
