Library Terms and Conditions

The Braunstone Chess Club virtual library is available to any paid up Braunstone chess club member who has a working email account.

1. In order to start borrow books members must make available a selection of their books for other members to borrow.
2. Members may borrow up to 2 books at any one time for a maximum period of one month.
3. Members must return the book in the condition that they were given the book or they will be expected to reimburse the owner of the book.
4. Before any books are borrowed the terms and conditions of the loan and any fines for late returning will be email to the requested borrower.
5. Fines for holding on to the book after the agreed period without notifying either the owner of the book or the club secretary will be applied as per the agreement.
6. Any player who loses or mistreats their borrowed books will be fined for the cost of a replacement.
7. Any player who refuses to pay their outstanding fines will be no longer allowed to borrow books until their outstanding sums are settled. In serious cases of excessive fines members will not be allowed to play for Braunstone Chess club until the matter is resolved and/or their membership will be revoked.
